In the golden autumn of November, with the sky as clear as washed and a gentle, comfortable breeze, Changzhou's gas industry grandly held the 6th Firefighting Sports Games of 2023 on November 3rd. The event was hosted by the 'Changzhou Gas Association,' organized by 'Jiangsu Tianli Construction Group Co., Ltd.,' and co-organized by the 'Liyang Zhongguancun Professional Fire Rescue Team.' The activity aims to strengthen safety education among the member units of the association, reinforce fire safety awareness, further improve fire emergency response capabilities, and effectively ensure the fire safety of all units.

The competition featured 14 teams from the gas industry in Changzhou, with five events: 'Crossing the River by Touching Stones' Relay Firefighting, Throwing the Embroidered Ball, Deep Affection Among Colleagues, Carrying the Fire Hose, 50-Meter Sprint, and Herculean Strength Challenge. For this sports meet, Terrence sent 13 employee representatives. During the more than a month of pre-competition preparation, everyone made time to actively train amid their busy work schedules, looking forward to showcasing their skills on the field.

On the competition field, athletes compete intensely, referees make fair and rigorous judgments, and the cheers from the cheerleaders rise and fall continuously. The Terrence participants were unafraid of strong opponents, daring to fight and strive, comparing physical fitness, discipline, and perseverance. They were well-prepared, skilled, and coordinated, demonstrating professional firefighting skills, a spirited and positive demeanor, and excellent teamwork. This competition not only tested physical strength but also knowledge, allowing everyone to deepen their understanding and mastery of firefighting knowledge through practical competition. After nearly two hours of tense and orderly fierce competition, the outcomes of various events were gradually decided. The six athletes representing the Terrence team embodied the spirit of 'taking it seriously, actively participating, and cooperating as a team,' carried out their efforts steadily, and earned the honor of an outstanding team.

"Everyone talks about safety, and everyone knows how to respond in emergencies." This fire safety sports event took the competition as an opportunity, allowing participants to consolidate their professional knowledge and gain hands-on experience during the competition, further enhancing the safety awareness of all employees, and effectively improving their emergency response and self-rescue and mutual aid abilities. In addition, it also deepened the learning and communication among members of various organizations in the industry, jointly promoting the steady development of fire safety work in Changzhou's gas industry.
