The first solar term: deer shed their antlers
The second phase: cicadas start recognizing how to cry
In the third period, pinellia grows
The summer solstice has arrived
Since ancient times, there has been a saying: 'Wontons on the Summer Solstice, dumplings on the Winter Solstice.' Eating wontons on the Summer Solstice helps prevent heat-related illnesses in hot weather.
Early in the morning on June 21, the company's Human Resources and Administration Department organized the cafeteria staff to prepare the ingredients and dough sheets needed for today's wontons, and called on skilled workers from various departments to assist with the activity.

As the activity began, everyone enthusiastically showcased their exquisite skills, wrapping wontons with fluid, graceful movements. Before long, the table was filled with plump, round wontons. While making the wontons, everyone exchanged tips and discussed how to make more delicate ones. Laughter and cheerful voices frequently echoed through the scene, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.

Although it has been drizzling continuously today, a bowl of steaming hot wontons warms both the heart and the stomach. Tradition is ingrained in our genes; eating wontons at the Summer Solstice is not just a custom but also a sentiment and a nostalgic feeling. Wontons may be small, but they contain the warmth of the Terrence family. Finally, I wish everyone a cool summer, a healthy summer, and a happy summer!
